Plenty of opportunities within DP World

It is 2013 when former bank employee Carlos Madeira leaves his city of Faro in the south of Portugal behind and heads for the Netherlands. Through a family member, he starts working as an operator and administrator at DP World (then syncreon). He has now been working at DP World for 9 years and is a project manager in Waalwijk 1 and is a temporary supporting warehouse manager for the site in Venray. Be inspired by Carlos' career.

DP World invests in Dutch language training for its foreign employees

DP World is an international logistics organization. DP World also has several warehouses in the Netherlands. For the Amsterdam location, the company will provide Dutch language training for all employees who do not speak Dutch. The lessons wil be given by STE Languages.

Tilburg Ten Miles: We are proud of our colleagues

On Sunday 25 September, more than 30 colleagues took part in the Tilburg Ten Miles, a running event through Tilburg. Colleagues could choose from different distances ranging between 5 kilometers and 10 miles (16.1 km). In the Tilburgse Koepelhal we had a business unit available to meet each other with a snack and a drink and to relax after the run. We are also a sponsor of the event, so the logo (and that we are looking for logistics talent) adorned several places along the course.

100% paid for your MBO diploma and learning Dutch at DP World

The first BBL Logistics employee training (MBO level 2) started in May. This training is intended for DP World employees and is tailor-made together with the ROC Tilburg. What is unique about this course is that, in addition to the subject content, learning Dutch is also offered as a second language. DP World takes care of the costs of the training and the salary on the course day is paid 100%. After successful completion of the two-year course, students receive an accredited diploma that is valid throughout Europe.
